Grace & Elbert’s Modern Chic Wedding at York Mills Gallery

We’re excited to share another feature wedding today that took place at York Mills Gallery as featured on Eventsource.ca blog. This wedding was so romantically and showcased the couple with all of the sparkling lights. All photos were taken by Eric Cheng Photography.
The bride started the day at the Westin Prince hotel getting ready with her bridal party.
 
The couple also had traditional attire, with red and blue taking center stage.

 The wedding party then headed over to the main event at York Mills Gallery. First, the reception took place in this breathtaking room with the most romantic lighting and incredible floral displays by Sara Baig Designs.

Guests danced the night away on the dance floor by Axe Media Group. The York Mills Gallery was a great space for this romantic gathering.

Wedding planner content: lighting candles, fixing menus and casually walking around looking put together. ✨ The reality? That’s probably 10% of the job. 😂 The other 90% is happening behind the scenes — nonstop texts and phone calls, weather decisions, last-minute changes, communicating with vendors before they arrive, adjusting timelines and solving things before our couples ever know there was a problem. Those moments are rarely captured because… well, we’re usually too busy doing them. A day in the life of a wedding planner ✨ Amy & Brian’s wedding day edition. We went back and forth on the rain plan more times than I’d like to admit 🌧️☀️ — but in the end, the weather gave us the most beautiful golden hour, followed by fireworks to close out the night. 🎆 One of my favourite parts of this wedding was bringing a full Chinese catering experience into a venue that doesn’t host this style of service often. It takes a lot of coordination behind the scenes — between the venue, caterer, kitchen, rentals and our planning team — to make everything flow seamlessly. And this is exactly the kind of challenge I love. When everyone comes together with professionalism, flexibility and a shared goal of creating the best experience for the couple and their guests, magic happens.
