Beautiful Macedonian Wedding at Eagles Nest Golf Club as seen on WedLuxe

Looking back at all the weddings in 2018, this particular one is near and dear to my heart.  I’ve been working with our beautiful bride, Ashley, and her wonderful mother for over 2 years on the wedding and so happy to see that it is featured on Weduxe blog.  It is definitely one a fun one down in the books with the all-star vendor team.  There were lots of cultural traditions that made this wedding so special.  The Macedonian band started playing at Ashley’s house in the morning while the families arrived.  The music really uplifted everyone’s mood and the families are already dancing before heading to the church.  Ashley and Lee had their reveal at the backyard and everyone headed to the church together.

Ashley’s beautiful dress by Berta was our inspiration for the wedding design.  It’s definitely a showshopper! All the design elements evolved around her dress making it the statement of the wedding. The reception took place at The Eagles Nest Golf Club and more photo session took place on site.  It has so many picturesque locations for photos.

Festivities continued throughout the reception.  Breaking of the bread and traditional Macedonian pig dance kicked off the evening after the grand entrance started.  It was a lot of fun coordinating and witnessing it.  Of course Ashley got the bigger piece of the bread and wears the pants in their relationship.

After the bride and groom’s speech, they lead the guests to the terrace to watch the fireworks show and kicked off the dance floor with a Macedonian traditional bread dance.  I hope you enjoyed the story.  I had so much fun being a part of this wedding and should introduce the pig dance to other culture!
