This second series of highlights from the 2016 The Wedding Co. Market Show includes The Serif, Loversland, and Bunt Photography.

The Serif creates vintage but modern letter pressed invitations and paper goods. Bika Diakoloukas, founder of The Serif offers 10 ready made sets for brides to choose from but clients are also able to customize their own cards and choose a different theme and colour. Ready made sets starts from $6 a set including an invitation, RSVP card, envelopes for both, and twine. We love the idea that you can also create your own wood mounted coloured stamps to personalize your stationery.

Loversland carries fashion forward silhouettes that are more mainstream. This is perfect for a modern everyday woman who doesn’t want to go for the traditional wedding gown. Ready to wear dresses are available for bridesmaids, engagement parties, or rehearsal dinners. Loversland also offers accessories, décor, swim and lingerie. Many bridal designers they carry are hard to find in Canada, these include Rue De Seine from New Zealand, Mira Mandic from Australia, Stone Fox Bride, Rebecca Schoneveld, and Nicole Miller from New York. Designers like Bo and Luca, Dan Jones, Odylyne: The Ceremony and Daughters of Simone are soon to come as well.

Bunt Photography specializes in boudoir photography. It’s important for women to have at least one boudoir shoot in their lifetime to celebrate their body. The process is simple. Build a Pinterest board of photos that you like, whether you like black & white or coloured prints and choose what outfits you want to wear. Bunt Photography offer 2 packages. First one is an hour shoot with 3 different outfits and includes matted prints. The second is 2 hours long with up to 5 outfits and includes a full album. The hair and makeup artist will arrive on site and shooting usually takes place in a boutique hotel. There’s no need to be shy. The photographer will guide you throughout the shoot and assist with your posing to create sexy photos you can look back on for the rest of your life.
